2012: Participated in faculty team visit to the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia to develop an MOA partnership.

2011: Participated in a two-week faculty team visit as part of a MOA partnership between the Consumer Sciences Department, University of Pretoria, South Africa, and the Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management Department, ISU. Role in this visit included: Teaching and research presentations, research advising, and research planning and collaboration sessions.

2010: Participated in visit to the New Zealand Centre for Research on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) at Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand. Gathered information on SME/entrepreneurship center development and related research, outreach, and educational activities.
